Hi friend! I’m Sonia and I love to make beautiful things. I grew up in Orange County, California with my amazing family. My interest in sewing blossomed at the age of 7 because I wanted to create clothes for my Barbie dolls and fashion intrigued me. Little did I know it would lead me to become a costume designer! Theatre became my second home throughout high school and I met my kind of people. I was blessed with the opportunity to attend USC and graduated in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design. Now you’ll find me golf carting through the Universal Backlot as a costumer on BEL AIR.

Through the support of my community I launched @confeccionesdesonia to create beautiful things and share my crafts with friends like you! I also would love to share my knowledge about sewing, altering, and making clothes work for your body!
